Translate client requirements into concise technical specifications and design solutions using tiered applications, middleware, database systems, and supporting technologies.Collaborate with solutions, platform and architecture teams to design new, and evaluate existing, technical solutions. Identify technical risks and develop strategies in the areas of backup, alerts, monitoring, logs, security, file transfers, capacity, performance and health.Design infrastructure as code approach for pipeline, application infrastructure and automated CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments. Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment. Using Unix/Linux bash scripts to write and set configurations to various resources and deploy/manage accordingly Monitor systems and components for availability, performance, reliability, security, and efficiency. Work with platform users to understand requirements and use cases, and to advise on strategy and best practices for use of the technologies and tool set. Create and support development of automation solutions
Degree in comp/eng. MS (3YRS) or BS (5YRS) of expr in software dev. Expr. in working on large scale software projects, Agile methodologies, manage infrastructure on cloud (AWS Services-EC2, S3, Route 53, RDS, Dynamo, AWS Storage Gateway etc.), develop CI/CD pipelines, Linux/UNIX based operating systems, ability to monitor syst. performance, unit testing, trouble shoot issues & provide solutions.
